2020 艾尔朗加大学 暑期线上课程!!!

Focusing on “STUNTING PREVENTION ACCELERATION”, the upcoming program will bring together 30 students and 10 academic staffs from all over the world, this time with a particular aim on how to reduce neonatal mortality of live birth.

Adopted from Goal 1.3 and 3.2 of Sustainable Development Goals, participants are expected to explore the background of the stunting problem in Surabaya and Semarang. Participants, both academic staffs and students, will have to undergo a working session with various community representatives in Surabaya as well as attending a series of webinar arranged by Universitas Airlangga and Diponegoro University via online platform. The participants are not only expected to gain experience on a diverse range of knowledge but also to bridge and optimize the role of academia in stunting prevention. Interaction with the relevant communities and the assembly of experts on these fields are expected to prompt the emergence of new ideas and collaborations that can support and accelerate the effort to achieve said SDGs.

Who should apply?
This program is open to undergraduates and academic staffs who meet the following criteria:
- Have an interest in stunting prevention
- Able to communicate effectively in English,
- Passionate about contributing on their country’s health specifically in child mortality reduction, and
- Be nominated/recommended by the home university.

The commitment fee is USD 50.
The collected program fee will be donated to the Indonesian frontline healthcare workers on the fight against COVID-19 in Surabaya and Semarang.
